The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-UT2-Ex2 is a 2-channel universal temperature converter and isolated barrier designed for intrinsic safety applications. It accepts thermocouple, RTD, potentiometer or voltage inputs and converts the measured signal to a proportional 0/4–20 mA output.
The unit supports sink or source operation, line-fault and sensor-burnout detection, PACTware configuration, and applications up to SIL 2. It can also be configured as a signal splitter.
